Hi everyone,
I would like introduce myself as I oversee the partnership between Mercedes-Benz and what3words. For those who do not know, MB were the first car company to incorporate our global addressing system, allowing you set the navigation to a precise 3mx3m square using only 3 words (
).
This is available to anyone driving a car with MBUX or the latest COMAND infotainment system.
I wanted to post so that you can ask me any questions or offer any feedback on the system and how it works in your vehicle. I have also attached to this post a guide of how to activate and enable the service.
To find a three word address to input you can either download our free app (iOS / Android) or visit map.what3words.com. You may have already seen three word addresses appearing in contact pages etc (like the MB Museum in Stuttgart).

E300 AMG line Cabriolet
What3words stopped working on my E300 some months ago. I have followed your instructions and checks to no avail. You mention "an online update of the existing "Local Search"" which I can't find. Is this the problem?

Did you have any luck resolving this - or any idea what caused it to stop ? e.g. a Mercedes update, or expiration of a Mercedes Me service perhaps ?
Wondering as I can't get mine working with Linguitronic either, works find it I type it into MBUX manually.
