Engine decoding
Hello, Am trying to get details of an engine i want to purchase as a transplant for my MB. This engine is M104, Engine number is 126 944 12 012760, i would like to know the cubic capacity/cc and year of manufacture. thanx alot.

Did you google this? Look at Wikipedia.

Which vehicle (please post the VIN) was the engine removed from?

Did you ask your question of the person you are buying the engine from?

i was told its 3.2 liter, and 1997 model. unfortunately i cant get the VIN. its dealership for MB parts
