The Mercedes-Benz GLB is a new model that sits on a longer wheelbase. It's available with either front-wheel or four-wheel drive and can accommodate up to seven passengers.

I’m sort of interested in this SUV. Is this closer to GLA or GLC in architecture and refinement?
I assume it would be bigger than GLC since it has 7 seats. I find it’s “looks” (in pictures) actually better than either SUVs. If priced right this could be a real volume seller for Mercedes. Hope it is more refined than the GLA.
When will MBworld start a sub forum for the GLB?

I'm interested too. Have a GLC on order but might change.

This site will let you compare. https://carbuzz.com/compare/mercedes...cedes-benz-glc

Think they should be on dealer floors next 3-4 weeks.

It seems GLC-sized and GLA-related architecture. Transverse engine with larger seating capacity compared with the GLC. Very Tiguan-esque. Shorter length and wheelbase vs the GLC, but taller.

Because the GLB is assembled in Mexico, I can see a day when the GLC is discontinued in the US, or its availability reduced, for example via price increases.
