Hi,
We are thinking about buying a GLC and was wondering which option packages and individual options were most important.
Thanks

I'm not trying to be a smart @ss or anything, but isn't the important thing which options do you feel are the most useful to you?

True, But there are some options that often receive glowing reports but aren’t worth the money spent on them. Is the upgraded sound system that much better then the standard one. That’s what I’m asking.

It’s rare to see anyone complaining that a premium audio system is worse than the base version. In the case of the W166 GLE, I enjoy the Harmon Kardon system. The GLC offers the Burmester system, which has sounded good to me in the service loaners I have driven. The Burmester option price seems very reasonable in the case of the GLC.

Well, I have a friend with a GLC who told me that he didn’t see any advantage in buying the premium system over the base system. Some people don’t have the ear for a better system as you have.

You are right, good point.

Maybe in addition to input here, visit the dealer and try vehicles with and without the options you are most interested in.
