Best Mercedes Models With "Regular" Suspension (i.e. No AirMatic)

I bought an E550 Coupe almost 5 years ago after narrowing my search from also including the E550 Sedan, CLS550, and S550. The main reason for narrowing was hearing how common expensive issues with the AirMatic suspension were in these upper end models. Since I learned that, I've heard too many accounts of the issues to count so, as a buyer of lightly used models (but with little warranty remaining), I'm trying to avoid anything with AirMAtic or other overly complicated suspension.

What are the best models for a strong engine and performance (although i probably would not pop for an AMG model) that have a more conventional suspension, like my E550 Coupe does?

Thanks.

2017 GLE350 4MATIC
SUV or sedan? The outgoing (2016-2019) base GLE model has a steel spring suspension. According to Car and Driver online, the new 2020 GLE base model has a steel spring suspension, although this is not 100% clear to me on the MBUSA site. Same comment (not 100% clear from the MBUSA website) for the more powerful 2020 GLE450.

The base model GLC has a steel spring suspension. The GLC43 AMG has an air suspension.

The 2019 E450 appears to have a steel spring suspension.

All of the above from the MBUSA site.

Cars and SUVs. Since I'm keeping my E550 Coupe, I was thinking it would be nice to have an SUV again (had two Tahoes previously and really liked them). And I was just looking at GLEs over the weekend. The spec sheets are not real clear on the different models. Also, I saw an article on the MB site about the different suspensions available on the GLE. So I'm confused. It sounds like there is also some kind of hydraulic suspension system too, which also sounds more problematic than the traditional steel spring or struts (not sure of the actual terminology).
