ABS/Speed sensor Issue
Hello Members,
Please watch the video to understand the issue. Its like when I am on a uphill and on a stop and go, I push the gas pedal and the break applies automatically. Please watch the video to know what is happening. This all started after the indy shop replaced front passenger side axle shaft along with ABS speed sensor. There is no error code to read or scan. The indy shop did scan for code and found nothing. As mentioned this happens only on a stop and go or from a park to drive/reverse.
Any idea if this is something to do with ABS/sensor issue or anything with brake booster/vacuum leak? Please help in directing me to identify the right cause.

Does the indy accept responsibility for this, and is working diligently to correct it? I suggest pursuing this route. Brake application after axle shaft and speed sensor replacement suggests a problem in the repair procedure or parts used. Exactly what part number for the new ABS sensor was used? What is your VIN?

Well the indy shop said its not related to what they did and said that it might be transmission fluid issue and flushed it costing me another $250. They just said that they replaced ABS sensor and did not mention the part number in the bill.

What is printed on the invoice the shop gave you? Can you please post a photo of the invoice? Is the part number A2519055700 listed? If not, call and ask them what part number was used for the ABS sensor.

The mechanic that did the work needs to correct the situation. The part number is helpful to know if the correct part was used, so you have more knowledge and leverage in the discussion. Call the mechanic.
