Tachometer Connection


Hi Everyone.

I am trying to get my tachometer working on my gullwing 300SL project. The tachometer is an old school gauge with electronic connection. There are 6 pins on the back of the gauge. Does anyone knows which pin is getting the power from the ignition key and which pin is receiving the signal from the coil. Anyone can share this knowledge or send me a VDO diagram would be appreciated. I have attached the photos of the tachometer and the pin with its number for your easy reference. The tachometer part no. is 000 542 51 16. Thank you for reading and helping.
