For an unrelated reason to the question, I have to replace the rear glass of my 09 E350. I noticed this when replacing my windshield a few years back, there are 3 glass options for my year car. There's a "Green Tint" option, a "Blue Tint" option, and a "Heat Reflecting" option. I'm not looking for speculation or assumptions, is there anybody that knows for certain what the real differences are between the 3? My car has the blue tint from factory, is the Heat Reflecting better at heat rejection, or is it just not a color tinted glass? I can't seem to find any conclusive info, just speculative arguments about if it's a tint or a coating or a colored glass.
Do any of the experts know what the difference is? I've attached a site that has all 3 options for my car.
