How much is this SL worth?

It is a 1994 SL 500 with 40000 miles. It is midnight blue with a navy blue top. It has an extended warranty untill 2005 and it is mint condition. Any help would be apprectiated.

Thanks,
The Fan

The prices above ought to give you a reasonable idea; however, I also think SL prices are quite flexible. Keep in mind that the SL has always had the highest resale value in the automotive industry, and prices are very dependent upon the condition of the vehicle. I've seen plenty of late '80's 560SL's fetching close to $30K--even above that in out-of-control cases.

Your car is much newer and has very low miles for the year. If it's in excellent shape, you ought to start out asking not more than $40,000, but well over $30,000. Try 37. Check out www.autotrader.com and see what other cars like yours are listing for.

It all depends on how fast you need to sell. Warranty is a great selling point.
