Anyone have experience purchasing a Lemon branded vehicle that was repaired by MB? I've read numerous posts that say many lemon vehicles reached that status due to technician failure/incompetence rather than an actual lemon vehicle. I've come across a few that are available and indicate they have the MB records showing what was repaired. Anyone have any personal experience and would you do it the same if you could do it all over again?

Bought a 2013 s65 MB buyback. Original owner said it would cut out. Been driving it a year with no issues. Love it.Originally Posted by 5_Star_General

It's a risk I wouldn't take. Some people would, and do, take the risk. It's not easy to quantify the magnitude of the risk.
If the car is "special", like the S65 above, and you are either a seasoned DIYer or willing to spend alot of money in repairs, then a lemon might be for you.
