Have any of you made any changes to your engine`s air inlet system?
I had an idea to change the air filters to K&N in order to increase the air flow into the engine, but then I measured the air mass sensor area (photo 1) and air intake hose area (photo 2).
And it disappointed me- air mass sensor area 4300 mm2 vs air intake hose area 1800 mm2 only. This means that it doesn’t matter what kind of super/duper/cool air filters you would set, the restriction is still at the very beginning of the air supply- in this small hole (photo 2)... Has anyone improved the air supply inlet? Can you share your opinion and photos of what you have achieved?
