W180 Enthusiats in here?
Hello all,
My names Faris and i’m new to the forum and currently have a 1959 Black Mercedes 220s with 53k original miles and gray cloth interior. It’s restoration is still in progress and will post pictures when it’s done
i already got the car registered and have a question for my W180 experts out there. The original owner of the car (i’m the third) lived in Germany and had this car, the second owner was a lady who had it imported here back in the 60’s. When she got it registered back then they did the title under the Chassis # rather than the VIN. Should i correct this on my registration? i just kept it as the chassis code because personally i thought it was cool to have a title for a car with a “VIN” of less than 16 digits. Any and all responses are welcome.
