Electronic stability program control unit N30/4 internal fault.
I own a Mercedes GLK 350cdi 4Matic (x204) 2010.
Some time ago, I noticed that both of my rear springs were cracked, but the car was driving fine. I drove with the cracked springs for about 2 months (yea. I know.....)
While driving with the cracked springs, I suddenly got the “EBV, ABS, ESP inoperative”-fault. I scanned the car with LAUNCH and it told me that the right rear wheel speed sensor was bad. I replaced the sensor and the reluctor ring, and the fault went away.
About 1 Month later, while still driving with the cracked rear springs, i got the EBV, ABS, ESP-fault again. I scanned the car, and now i got the “ESP control Unit internal fault N30/4” Message.
I have been searching for weeks to find a solution, with no luck.
The fault message only appears when hitting 20kph
I replaced the springs, replaced the battery, cleaned the wires going into the ESP Unit, replaced all 3 fuses for the ESP, tried the lock to lock method, My Mechanic performed a wheel alignment and He measured all the parameters and all were fine.
Has anyone experienced this ?
Thanks.
