RIP Bruce Mendel
Wasn't sure where, exactly, to place this, but I found out today that Bruce Mendel, aka "Bruce_M" passed away last week.

While I never met Bruce, I feel like I lost a friend. He was SUPER helpful to me in my W221 search and, even though I didn't buy the car from him, he still supported me with tech answers. On top of that, he was funny and very nice.

I also was shocked to hear of this. I knew Bruce had COVID earlier in the year but also knew he had "recovered". Don't know if his sudden death was a coincidence from other causes or related but in any case a heck of a shame. He was a very standup guy, especially within the used car community! Not only did he sell me a great S600 but he also was always available with advise and parts / service way before I ever bought from him. He will be missed. Prayers go out to his family.
