Anything is repairable if enough money is thrown at it.
With that said, it doesn't look too bad? Probably looking at a new bumper, radiator, and hood. Doesn't look like there's any frame damage.

Yes the standard procedure is to file an insurance claim and the insurance company will guide you through your options.
