How to shift gear to N?
Hello all,
This might be a stupid question and perhaps has been answered numerous times, but I've been googling and just can't find a definite answer to it. This is my first MB and first European car too! I've been so used to driving Japanese made cars that it takes some getting used to.
Anyway, I bought a GLB. Can you shift the gear to Neutral when the engine is off? Usually, there is a key that you insert and then you can shift the gear to N while engine is off. But with this new MB, the key is different. It no longer has the part where you can plug it into the start engine button. And I don't think the engine button is removable as well.
Besides, when the car door is opened, the gear will automatically shift to P. So.... is there a certain method that you can do it?
