Any recommended brand (or avoid) for parts (blower motor regulator / resistor)?

I have a 2000 C230K.
I'm planning to buy a blower motor regulator / resistor and possibly a blower motor if need.
I came across these brands for parts while online shopping (rockauto.com, ecstuning.com, autohausaz.com):
  • Mahle Behr
  • Uro
  • Nissens
  • ACM
  • Meyle
  • Ultra-Power
  • Dorman
  • Standard Motor Products
  • Beck/Arnley
  • Mahle / Clevit
Anything someone can recommend for quality, any brand to avoid?
Is Mahle / Clevit the same as Mahle Behr ?
Does it boil down to the more expensive the better quality and the cheaper the closer it is to junk?
Thank you for the help in my DIY journey!

You need to look for / research this stuff while waiting for foot traffic.

Thanks for the link. Seems very interesting.

Btw, you are mistaken. I did my research. I couldn't find good answers in a reasonable amount of time.
I needed a quick but reliable enough answer so I could make a quick no-brainer decision and I assessed that I already spent enough time researching.
Voila, the result was my question.

To answer your question in general: everyone's case is different. Not everybody has your search or analytical skills or even the time to do so.
Your link for example, has a very very long discussion, which I might read one day, but not tonight as I don't have the time (I'm already taking the time to reply to you) and have other priorities.

There is indeed a problem with "very lazy folks" who will do zero research but who can blame them, in a world that leaves no time for people to rest...
Unfortunately, it won't get better especially with a popular forum because as time goes, useful information gets buried deeper and deeper making searching harder and longer.

Cheers.
