Hi everyone, I'm looking at buying a 2006 CLK-500 with ~98,000 miles on it. One of the only causes of concern is that it's throwing CEL code P0308 for "Cylinder 8 misfire." I've done some light research on it and have found that it's most likely a spark plug issue/coil pack issue. The current owner isn't sure when the last time the spark plugs were changed - if ever - and there's also a feint smell of burning gas/oil coming from the engine bay. If anyone has any information on what the problem could be and about how much it would cost (USD) to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated. Loved the car but need to know if it's worth getting with a misfiring cylinder.
