Importing E300 from Ontario, Canada to North Carolina
Hi All,
I am new to this forum so please pardon if I am asking an obvious question. I have emotional value for my Y2012 E300 (110K km, top condition), hence moving it to USA with me. TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) is the "big gap" between USA requirements, and specs of my car made in Stuttgart, Germany in Nov 2011. Can someone please provide insights on:
1) How difficult the whole process of registering the cars across the border is,
2) How much cost should I expect to do the whole TPMS incorporation in NC?
3) Other guidance e.g., "don't get emotional about car, sell it off, and buy another one in USA"?
