2008 E350 M272 valve cover gasket replacement
Hello everyone!
I'm new here, and I recently acquired a 2008 E350 4matic. It has a significant oil leak at the valve covers and i would like to do the repairs myself. From the research I've done I found that there is no actual gasket, but a sealing compound....Is this right? If so, is there a special procedure other then just squirting it into the grooves of the valve cover? I'm a newbie to Mercedes, but I've been repairing my own cars for years. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.
