What can I ask as a compensation from mercedes?
To resume the story me and my wife bought a C43, paid for the certification but a mistake from their own made it not possible and 2 weeks after having the car with the contract already signed they asked for the car to be returned and changed the terms of the contract.
- The car had a performance chip which is illegal and makes it non certifiable, they could’ve just removed it before the sell but they didn’t
- They harassed my wife for weeks to bring back the car and cancel the deal, a psychological trauma (with official medical statements)
- A wheel was broken, a light burned and the car was stinky so we can conclude that the car didn’t got proper certification/verification ?
- Many illegal fees (3000$+) were added to the transaction which they recently admitted
Right now we are in a complaint process with the dealer and it has been going for 8 months, they recently asked what are our demands. We also recently contacted the car manufacturer for a complaint and are thinking about legal poursuit.
What can we ask for compensation? As I think just removing the hidden fees and correcting their mistakes is not enough.
