Mercedes slips to 21st place in Consumer Reports ranking
The best ranked German manufacturers were VW at #7, BMW at #15, Porsche at #21, Mercedes at #25 and Audi at #27.
Even knowing the lack of reliability, I purchased my very first two German vehicles. A 2021 GLC 300 and A 2021 BMW X3 M40i. I purchased them knowing and expecting them to provide me reliability problems and issues. I decided, life is too short to drive anymore boring cars. German cars are the most beautiful, best performing and the most high tech on the market. The fit and finish is superb to most every other vehicle out there. I've less than 3k miles on each of my new vehicles and I already have an issue with each one. I don't care because I expected it and they are both under warranty.
Before their warranty expires I will have long rid myself of them. Would I ever by a used German vehicle without a bumper to bumper warranty? Absolutely not. Never, never ever.
Everyday I thoroughly enjoy driving these beautiful vehicles. "Life is too short to drive boring cars"
