I sold cars for 15 years (Hondas) and Ive noticed over the years and now more than ever since I now own one myself (2016 C450 AMG) Ive noticed on almost every single Benz that Ive driven, that the steering wheel and the entire steering column seems to be off center and looks like its bent to the left towards the drivers side door a little bit. Its not very noticable, but if you center yourself into the seat and look directly in the middle of the dash gauges, you'll see in your peripheral vision what I mean. Does anyone know why its like that? Its driving me crazy that such a nice car has such an ugly cosmetic "defect" for lack of a better term.

I saw no explanation in that piece as to why some cars are so afflicted.
For what it's worth, my car's wheel and pedals are perfectly aligned.
