Help identify a model

Watched a movie with Michael Douglas,So It Goes,He was driving a mint vintage two door MB convertible. I recall he also drove the same car In Cominsky Method, Anyone know the year and model? Is it his own?

So just for fun I looked up some prices. In 1963 the 300SE Cabriolet was $12,172. Quite a lot considering most American made sedans were about $2500.
These cars are now for sale at around$130,000 .
Beautiful vehicle ..doesn't look dated at all!
