QC—I hope Mercedes reads this forum
Let me start by saying this is not a rant—far from it. I Love Mercedes having owned S class AMG sedans and several SUVs. Never had a minutes’ complaint until buying my 2020 GLS. 580 , Then 21 C63 AMG GLS. Both riddled with annoying problems. Such things as the 580 not recognizing my key fob; not being able to open doors or gas flap. Then the 63 —which would not charge my phone—I chalked this up to Apple but both our Audi and BMW charge it just fine.
my 63 had enough orange peel in the paint to rival a 95 Vette. I cracked my 63 windshield and the replacement Mercedes windshield would not recognize my transponder in any placement-sent back. My 63 flashed the go to dealer warning. Turns out it was a wire not properly connected during manufacture. Other minor stuff plus that damn seatbelt warning.
In conclusion I’ve gotten rid of nearly $300,000 cars in the last 3 months. I am truly hoping my problems were aberrational and not the new norm. I only write this in the hopes if this is a trend, Mercedes gets the message.

Thanks for commenting. The 167 launch has been difficult for Mercedes and on customers, unfortunately.
