The whole group attending the Academy was split into 4 groups of 8 drivers. One of the driving skills was a timed Slalom/Autocross with a stop box. Cones were +2s and failing to stop in the stop box was +5s. We had a few practice runs and then 3 timed runs, but we didn't get to see the times.
At the end of the day, they awarded prizes for the team with the lowest average time and for the top 3 times overall.
My team did not win the team event but we did have one of our team finish 3rd. He got a car care package from Meguiars.
2nd place won a framed silhouette of the track with a plaque.
First place won a Mercedes AMG race helmet with their name painted on it.
I walked away with nothing because I have to wait for them to paint my name on the helmet I won for 1st place.
