Question about diesel software update
My vehicle is recalled for the diesel software update. I have an adblue malfunction message and a check engline light. I’ve read that the software update might fix this issue. Would Mercedes update the software if the engine light is on?
The check engine light has the fault code p20f5 which is reductant (I think it’s adblue) consumption too high. Could be due to sensors not working properly. It re appears after it is cleared
Also the diesel software update also includes a nox sensor replacement if necessary so would they change the nox sensor as I have read that this error code could be due to the sensor being faulty?

if it's a recall it's free.
let them replace what they want included in the recall
when I my members have these kind of problems I update them first
most of the time it fixes the issue after some resets
