Out of curiosity, I checked the Canadian Government Motor Vehicles Safety Recalls Database. I found two airbag recalls that would include my 2016 AMG E63S. These recalls were issued after my car was imported to the US. MBUSA will not provide any information for a Canadian Import. US DOT and NHTSA will not provide info on a Canadian VIN. Am I just SOL here? Anyone have any experience with this?

I don’t have personal experience, but from researching the issue myself, as well as seeing it written on the forum, warranties and recalls do not transfer between regions. The good deals we all saw on E63 wagons came with the risk of not having manufacturer support. I believe some people have dealt with this by driving up to Canada. Your mileage may vary.
