Can I skip the 'timeline' for MB services but get them done at KM's?

Hello I am in Canada but I assume the answer for this is probably the same for North America, for all mercedes services it seems like there is a time line such as 1 year or a certain mileage/kilometer in which you have to get the service. I am totally a beliver in getting the service at the certain km/mileage range since by that time the fluid is used/dirty. I am against the 'timeline' such as get the service very year since sometimes I barely drive and the myth that over time fluid goes bad is proven to be bogus on tons of fluid/oil forums such as BITOG

I just wanted to ensure however that if I get the service before every mileage/km range but I disregard the 'timeline' is my warranty still intact? or can MB deny warranty based on this?
to further give an example, lets say if first service is 1 year or 10,000 miles, but lets say it takes me 2 years to hit 10,000 miles. I want to get the service in year two because that is when the fluid is actually dirty however I am not sure how MB/warranty would feel cuz as according to them I got the service 1 year late. Also the reason I ask is to see if prepaid maintenance is a worth it buy for me since I probably wont be driving my car much so I doubt I will need 4 services in 4 years

Thanks!

If your car is under warranty and you fail to have it serviced in accordance with the guidelines from the manufacturer (both mileage and time), they will deny your warranty claim in the event of a related failure.

As said above, warranty can be denied if the car hasn't been serviced according to the recommended service schedule. Barely driven cars may even need more attention as moisture can settle in the engine and especially if the car is only driven short distances, then fuel contamination can occur in the oil. Also, brake fluid flush is purely time based as the brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture over time whether you drive the car or not, so the brake flush is part of every Service B. If you follow the time based service schedule then that would be every two years, which is the general recommendation for a brake flush.
