Any M-B owners experience buying tires on Amazon Prime
I drive Mercedes-Benz 2001 ML55 AMG. In past I ordered four new Continental 285/50R18 109W tires and had them shipped to my single family home. I took four tires to local tire shop and had them installed. I recently retired and sold my home and live in an apartment. I saw that Amazon Prime sells the Continental tires I need. Amazon delivers the tires to local tire store, like Pep Boys in Virginia, you make an appointment and schedule time slot. Cost is $19.99 install per unit and $12.00 for delivery. I have never used this type of tire service and would like feedback from M-B owners who have tired Amazon Prime's tire buying and installation. Update: The Amazon ordered Continental tires never got delivered to the tire installation shop Pep Boys, so I cancelled the order and got refund easily. Two days before my scheduled tire installation appointment I drove to the Pep Boys store to confirm my appointment. I found the store space half empty and only the tire installation department still in operation. Everything looked untidy and not inviting.d

MAny online tire retialers connect with local tire installer around USA to help their customers.
Me I just shop the best tire deal online and local.
Then shop for tire installer.
Big difference is some will install tires from outside - Fine there are others who will.
Also road hazard insurance can be very difficult since installer may sell itseparate but you have to go to him read fine print
but for best road hazard buy from large retailer like Sams club /Costco or MD dealer or Firestone/goodyear tirecenters.
They are everywhere and will honor what they sell.
When you need road hazard you do not want find out you went cheap and not covered for some reason.
