Merc-Me download manager noy working
Using MacBook Air (M1) running Ventura 13.2.1. Download Manager can create "mmdmUpdate" directory on ExFAT formatted 32gb flash drive but, after having done so, cannot "see" the directory and write to it.

Use Windows. The download manager is Java based and on Windows it contains the JRE, whereas on MacOS from what I remember it uses whatever JRE is installed on the system, but unless you have the right version it may not run properly. You also have to make sure that your flash drive was partitioned using the MBR scheme and not the GPT scheme.
