2007 S600 Carlsson
I have a 2007 S600 Carlsson in white/white/piano black with 59K miles. It has "Carlsson" badges on fenders and trunk lid and some subdued body kit parts and the distinctive "CK60" carbon fiber engine cover under the hood. Engine was described in period as "No less impressive are the output and torque data after the Carlsson treatment: the tuned V12 develops 600 bhp / 441 kW (standard 517 bhp / 380 kW) at 5000 rpm coupled with a breathtaking 1024 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm." https://www.supercars.net/blog/2006-...n-cl-600-ck60/ The S600 was a $57,000 upgrade over the S550 that year. The Designo treatment of paint and interior (Mystic White/Porcelain ) was an upgrade and although striking I don't know how much that was? How do I value the Carlsson upgrades? I had the 6.3 Liter in an S63 and this seems more refined and a LOT faster with a LOT of torque when the turbos come i.. I also have another 2007 Silver/Black S600 with 34K miles as a comparo and that car is relatively tame looking versus the higher profile looking white/white one with badges naming the tuner. The Carlsson engine was to give you S65 performance in the S600 and always made sense to me. I once saw a SL600 with the Carlsson treatment on BringATrailer six years ago and that owner said the package was "like $25k" but I have no documentation nor did he. Anyone remember and care to share? The only other car I can find that is listed as a "Carlsson" the listing notes the V8 6.3 engine was tuned by another firm but was delivered by the Carlsson representative in Miami but he has no documentation. Mine has the Carlsson carbon fiber engine cover that lists "CK60" which seems some documentation that this isn't a "badger" but how do you know? Designo Mystic White Edition:
