As an experienced developer, I can tell you that there are many hacker groups out that that scan for this sort of thing in real-time. So they likely have had access to MB source code and additional keys to cloud resources and databases since September 2023.
This sort of thing led to widespread hacks of Hyundai and Kia vehicles. Hopefully, MB has done more to secure their vehicles, but this is certainly worrying and the full impacts may take years to realize.
