Is Mercedes-AMG finally realizing that no one wants a high-performance 4-cylinder with an AMG 63 badge?

I have a feeling all those 'Final Edition' cars are gonna turn out to just be 'Final Editions' of that body style. Merc discontinuing the V8 is like the internet discontinuing ****.

Dumb decision by MB in the first place. Rumors of the V8 coming back to the C63 and GLC63, as well. Would get me back into the MB fold, if so.

Has to happen if AMG want to continue to be relevant
My whole attraction to the brand was the V8. I’ve had two w205’s, currently on the S facelift. The most and I mean this— the most amazing feeling not only for yourself but everyone around the car that hears it. The looks and comments are endless. I’ve never had that in any other car. Supercars can be ostentatious in the wrong setting. These brute forces of human nature and engineering are accepted and loved. No schoolboy wanted a poster of a Tesla above his bed. It was a Porsche. So the new C63 I’m sorry it makes no sense , they will now know this and be scrambling back to the parts Dept’s to bring out a V8 before we all look for alternatives. It’s just the way it is 🤷🏽♂️🙏🏽
