Head-Up Display Distance Warning
My 2021 E450 All Terrain has a warning feature that appears in the Head-Up Display (HUD) as I’m approaching an obstacle. For example, as I pull into my garage the HUD will give me a visual and audible alert the closer I get to the wall of my garage. The color in the HUD changes from green to yellow to red, and the audible alerts get faster, the closer I get to the wall. That feature recently disappeared. I still get all the warnings in the main center screen but it’s not quite as helpful as the warning in the HUD that is right in my field of vision. Active Distance Assist, Active Parking Assist and Parktronic are all enabled and I’ve tried different combinations of settings in the HUD, but so far I am stymied. The feature just seems to have disappeared. Anyone have any ideas?
