Supposedly, only 18,500 were built over a 2 year period. I don't know how may came to the U.S. but my guess is that it's a pretty small number. It's a beautiful car in a beautiful color combination. Having said all of that, I still haven't wrapped my head around this price yet which is typically low mileage 500E territory. Certainly there are people who have the means to pay this kind of money and this particular car has meaning for this particular buyer so more power to him. I'd personally be more inclined to add a little more money and get an EVO I but then that's my taste. Someone else had a different idea and that's ok.
