Hello guys,
I just picked up my GLC 300 de 4 matic from service due to a loss of coolant which they fixed saying it was a cracked pipe.
And I realized the car is now making some loud screeching sounds on braking while manoeuvring as well as when turning full lock
I must also add I saw the girl at the service centre manoeuvring the car really really aggressively, I wonder if she’s at fault as the car wasn’t sounding like this yesterday when I dropped it off.
videos attached.
what could it be? Is it brakes or suspension related, please help!
thanks

Sometimes stuff like this happens when the wheels are hanging on the lift. You might want to look at the invoice to see what they had to remove for this process. If you think they touched anything related to suspension, take it back immediately. Otherwise, the sound might go away after you drive it for a little bit.
what coolant pipe? and if you’re unsure, post the invoice here.

I went back to the service and they told me they did not put the car on the lift to change the pipe.
They said it’s the floating brake discs that make these sounds and it’s completely normal
They showed me other Glc’s with higher mileage and they do make the sound but much less than mine.
anything to worry about? Is it normal? It wasn’t making these sounds the first weeks when I bought it.
thank you!
