Recently sold a 1994 SL500, and I'm currently looking at a 1987 560SEC for a project. The car has definitely seen better days, and I think it's a great opportunity to see what kind of power I can make with the M117 V8. Are there any performance modifications that are available for the 5.6 that are worth getting? What are the capabilities of this engine? Should I get it?
