Mercedes CLS 350 Shooting Brake Mild vibration sound
My 2014 Mercedes CLS 350 Shooting Brake that has a mileage of 52,000 miles. I have noticed an occasional vibration or humming noise emanating from the offside front area of the vehicle, particularly when decelerating from approximately 10 mph. This sound is not perceptible at higher speeds and does not seem to impact the car's performance in anyway.
In my assessment, which may not carry significant weight, I believe the issue is unrelated to the braking system, such as the pads. The noise resembles that of a mobile phone on vibrate and is most noticeable between 5 and 15 mph, especially during natural deceleration without applying the brakes. It is possible that the sound occurs at higher speeds as well, but it is likely too faint to distinguish amid the increased road noise. There may be a connection to the suspension system ?
Any suggestion’s would be much appreciated.
