Hey forum members. Anyone on the forum affected by the flooding of the Russian river in Sonoma county? That’s also big wine country. I hope 2024 vintage Sonoma wines don’t take a hit.
I saw on the news a vintage Mercedes model owner getting his car towed out of the flooding. The water in his driveway was almost up to the rocker panel. I saw some threads on this forum that indicated any flooding up to the rocker panels can amount to big electrical system damage.
The level of the river is normally 5 feet. When 2 days of straight rain started, the river was at 6 feet. It is now at 34 feet, and another foot of water will cause major flooding.
Good luck, and get those Mercedes vehicles up on high ground.
