My beloved Cls550 was hit last night. A lady came through a stop sign and hit me right at the passenger front wheel. I'm ok, I was alone in the car. Car wasn't driveable so I towed her home. I'll put up some pics when I get home today. I haven't had a chance to see her in the morning daylight. Here's a Pic with no bumps and bruises.
My question is I started an insurance claim. I should have the option to have them cut me a check. I'm debating on doing that and finding my own shop as opposed to go through theirs. Maybe I can squeeze in a few upgrades or something. Just a thought.
Does anyone have any shop recommendations? I live in Socal. Chino to be exact.
