Beware

Please be aware of very poor technical and substandard business at Georgetown Mercedes Benz. They will rip you off if you let them. Just beware. If you do any business with these folks, count your change...if you know what I mean.

Not only bad but thievery. They said I needed a new ME computer at a cost of 12K because my turbos wouldn't boost. There was a code showing the exhaust actuator was stuck shut. When that happens the boost goes away do as not to explode the exhaust system since the exhaust cannot leave the system. I pointed that out and the service writer said, no you need a new ME computer. He was trying to get my warranty company to pay for it. I took my car and called the warranty company to tell them the dealership was ripping them off. They were appreciative. But here is the best...when I dropped the car off there was no boost. When I took it from them, it ran perfect. It seems the actuator released and the boost was back. I took it to a reputable small German shop and they are replacing the device. No computer! What a bunch of Bozo's. Sad.

Yup, slow retail sales means the dealership's attention has shifted from the sales department to the service department to make up for their COVID levels of revenue, taking many people for a ride along the way.
