Oil cooler

I have a 1996 mercedes e class 5 cyl diesel that was imported from France in 2021. It’s hard to identify much more than that. Our vin decoder says it doesn’t exist. My problem is a severely leaking oil cooler into the coolant. I have not been able to remove it. I think I have all the bolts out. I haven’t been able to find my style of oil cooler in any publications. Yes it’s located on the oil filter base and it gets its coolant from 2 tubes inserted into the head by I guess o ring seals. Does anyone have any help or information? Thanks in advance, Steve. By the way, my vin is WDB2100171A104613

I’ll answer myself in case someone runs into this repair. You have to remove the oil filter base with the cooler attached and install it in reverse. Sounds easy, it ain’t
