W206 c63se performance flat battery issues
Hi I recently accidentally discharged my 12 volt start battery.
Since this happened my car is reading zero fuel so it will not operate in any mode except electric, I also have a hard orange engine light on dash.
i have about 50% fuel.
interestingly my app shows the correct fuel level.
Just wandering if any has any experience with a similar issue? Thanks

It sounds like your car’s fuel sensor or related system got glitched after the battery discharge. Try resetting the system by disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes, then reconnect. If the issue persists, you might need a dealer or mechanic to reset or recalibrate the fuel sensor. The app showing correct fuel suggests it’s a software/communication issue, not a physical sensor failure.

Thank you for the suggestion, I’ve tried disconnecting negative terminal for 15 minutes then reconnected then turned accessories on only for 30 minutes. The orange engine light has remained on but the car is operating perfectly. I’ll take it to Mercedes Monday to clear the fault and it should be back to normal.
