Ac problem
Hey all , I have a 2013 ml350 w166 that the ac on the driver side seems to periodically blow warm air . I think it might be the blend door actuator, but I’m not 100% sure any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

AC hot on drivers side
I had a local shop use a bore scope, fiber optic camera, peek down the ac ducts. They said two blend doors were broken. MB in St. Charles, IL quoted me $3,300 entire hvac box assembly. They would only sell it to me with a service appointment to R&R the unit for 15 hours x $200/hr.
July 2024 I sourced a 2014 box (salvage yardl) for $400. 12 months later that one broke exactly as you described w/hot air on the drivers side. I have yet to find a lower cost solution.
