Buying a CPO GLE450 imported from USA to Canada

Buying a CPO GLE450 imported from USA to Canada
Hey!

So I've been looking at certified pre-owned vehicles and I came across a 2022 Mercedes GLE450 that based on the Carfax report was imported to Canada from USA in 2022.

I am not sure if there is anything to look out for an imported vehicle. Is it something that I should consider buying or not? If anyone has any experience or insight regarding this, it will be very helpful.

Avoid the salt belt, make sure things are in MPH. Get a PPI.

Can you explain about things being in mph? I'd imagine it has to be because it's from USA. What if it's not?

It will need to be properly converted via software, unless you want to use KMs in USA.

Be very careful with a US-imported car in Canada. The main things to check are that the speedometer displays kilometers, the daytime running lights meet Canadian standards, and that it has a clear Canadian title. Some warranties might not transfer, so check with Mercedes-Benz Canada to see if the factory CPO warranty is still valid. If the price is great and the paperwork checks out, it can be a good deal, but it's extra homework.
