Want the W204 c300/c350, but should I go M272 or M276?

Want the W204 c300/c350, but should I go M272 or M276?
After some research I noticed the post-facelift models (2012-2014) are the most reliable. However the 2012 came with the m272 whereas the 2013-2014 came with the m276. I went into a really deep rabbithole where for the most part, I saw that both are reliable engines overall. But I need to choose one. If we are talking reliability, which one should I go with?

M276 hands down.

Go with the M276. It's the more modern engine and fixed the few known issues of the M272, like the balance shaft gear wear. The M276 is widely considered one of Mercedes' most reliable engines ever.
