New to the W205 Club - Any Must-Do Mods or Maintenance Tips?

Help post! New owner of a C-Class W205 here, looking for tips from veterans on must-upgrades and initial maintenance advice!
Hello to all the forum veterans and seniors! Finally fulfilled my Mercedes dream—just picked up a C-Class W205, brand new and still fresh. The more I look at it, the more I love it, but also the more anxious I get. As a total newbie, I’m completely clueless about subsequent upgrades and initial maintenance. I’m afraid of wasting money on pointless modifications or even affecting the factory warranty!
The car is currently in its original state, and it drives smoothly overall, but I feel there are areas that could be optimized to enhance practicality and the driving experience. Also, I have no idea about the "minefields" to avoid in initial maintenance or the easy-to-overlook but crucial details. So I’m here to sincerely ask for advice, hoping veterans can share some solid experience!
Regarding "must-upgrades" (practical, not flashy!):Are there any upgrade items that don’t affect the factory warranty but significantly improve the experience? Like interior accessories or useful function additions?
I’ve seen many owners say wheels and tires can be upgraded. My original wheels are the basic model, and I want to replace them with more stylish ones (like the flow-formed lightweight wheels + titanium alloy screws I’ve been eyeing, which balance looks and safety). But I don’t know what size or specifications are suitable. Will it affect fuel consumption or annual inspections?
For the interior—like seat ventilation, ambient light upgrades, or central control screen optimization—are these necessary? Which are "must-haves" and which are just "IQ taxes"?
Safety-related upgrades! Things like dash cams (does the factory not include one?), tire pressure monitoring, blind spot assist—are there reliable brands to recommend or installation notes to follow?
Regarding "initial maintenance" (looking for pitfalls to avoid!):Is the first service based on mileage or time? Is the 4S shop’s "3000 km / 3 months" a trap? How to actually judge?
For the first service, is the factory oil enough, or should I upgrade to something better? What should I know about subsequent maintenance intervals and oil choices?
Are there "break-in tips" for the initial period? Like controlling engine speed, speed limits, avoiding sudden acceleration or braking—do these need to be strictly followed?
In daily use, are there easy-to-ignore details that affect the vehicle’s lifespan? Like parking habits, paint care, battery maintenance?
Besides 4S shops, are outside repair shops reliable? Will getting initial maintenance done outside affect the warranty?
I really need your experience! Whether it’s upgrade lists, maintenance pitfalls, or driving tips—any W205-related insights are welcome. Thanks in advance, veterans! Once I make progress with upgrades and maintenance, I’ll come back to share updates!

Congrats on the new car! And welcome to the forum!

Regarding the dash cam, as a forum sponsor, I recommend Wolfbox G900 Pro 2CH dash cam and G900 Tripro cabin version 3CH dash cam, which are featured with 4K front cam, 2.5K rear cam, voice control, wifi download, parking mode, among others.

If you want to know more besides what are listed on the website, feel free to ask. Cheers!
