Got E-Rased today...
Today, I was driving down the i-90 Mass Pike today, when I caught sight of an w124 E500. Next thing I know, I was tailing him... through the lanes, first to the left, and then to the right...
And before I knew it, he put the pedal to the metal and absolutely blew me away. My goodness... Lots of respect for the W124 E500 drivers out there...
Oh... and his MA license plate??

So was it an E500 or a hammer? They are two entirely different beasts (plus the hammer's a coupe) The W124 E500 is one of my favorite all time MB's but I don't think it's older technology would permit it to WALK all over a new E500:
W211 E500 302HP, 339 lb/ft. 3812lbs, 0-60: 5.9 sec
W124 E500 322HP, 354 lb/ft, 3855lbs, 0-60: 6.1 sec
The E500 was probably modded quite extensively!
EDIT: your 4 matic is heavier and slower to accel than the RWD E500...could have been a normal E500 after all, sorry for the crazy post LOL
