Autoweek Article 07 GL
Did anyone else notice that the Autoweek article spec'd the price and mpg and DID NOT PUT (EST.) out beside? The price suited me and was what I expected, but I am dumbfounded at the mpg Mercedes is foisting on those of us who give a da#n. If Chevrolet can make a V8 Tahoe get better than 20 on the highway, why can't MB do it as well.
I wanted the diesel from the beginning, but was considering going ahead if the diesel was pushed out a year or more...but to only get 13/18 makes me kind of sick...i can certainly afford it, no one who buys these cars at $+60k should not be able to, but I also give a crap about the oil situation in the world.
If they'd just announce the diesel and redeem themselves

My favorite is the guy who drove the twin turb V12 CL to work and knew his car was hurting mother earth, but it was okay because he was "totally aware" of what his car was doing.
